Opened on February 20, 2024 (Tuesday) in Sakae, Nagoya,
'THE ROYAL PARK HOTEL ICONIC NAGOYA'
[4-1-1 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya City, Chunichi Building 24F]

I designed two soundscapes for the 24th-floor reception/tea lounge/gallery area, and one for the 25th-floor sauna room.

On the 24th floor, you can listen to two different pieces of music: one played during the day and another from evening to late night.

In the 25th-floor sauna room, exclusively for hotel guests, I used sounds collected from the Choshi River, along with sounds created by converting the bioelectric potential of moss into sound, creating a mindful experience for a deep breath for mind and body.

With the theme "Traveling, Tube," I designed a soundscape using natural sounds field-recorded on the Kumano Kodo Iseji route and sounds created from the bioelectric potential of plants.

I hope my sounds will color the journeys of those who visit, and that many stories will be woven from this place.
