｢Soundscape for HAKOZAKI｣

＜Workshop Contents＞

In the summer of 2023, we held a workshop in Hakozaki where we explored the town, collecting natural sounds such as birdsong and rustling trees, as well as sounds we usually hear unconsciously, to re-examine the "sounds of Hakozaki."

 

Participants walked around Hakozaki from JR Hakozaki Station with recorders, recording their favorite sounds at their favorite locations. The walking route was Hakozaki Station → Hakozaki Shrine → Hakozaki Fishing Port → Shioi Park.

 

After the walk, we moved to a small cafe in Hakozaki called "Nodoka," where we enjoyed drinks and talked while listening to the sounds of Hakozaki that everyone had collected.

 

We collected the recording data from the participants, and SHUHEI NISHIMURA created a CD-R titled "Last July_2023," containing each participant's song using that data, which we presented to the participants as a gift.

＜ワークショップ内容＞

2023年の夏、箱崎の町を散策し、鳥の声や木々が揺れる音などの自然音や普段は無意識に聞いていた音を拾い集めながら改めて「箱崎の音」意識をしていくワークショップを開催しました。

 

JR箱崎駅からレコーダーを持って箱崎を歩き、それぞれが好きな場所で好きな音を録音しました。散策ルートは箱崎駅→筥崎宮→箱崎漁港→汐井公園です。

 

散策終了後、箱崎の小さなカフェ｢長閑｣へ移動してお酒などのドリンクをお供に皆さんが拾い集めた箱崎の音を聴きながらお話ししました。

 

参加者の皆さんの録音データをお預かりし、SHUHEI NISHIMURAがそのデータを使用した参加者それぞれ曲を収録したCD-R 作品「Last July_2023」を制作して参加者の皆さんへプレゼントさせて頂きました。
